During the fall of 2024, I illustrated and designed a collection of 6 recipe cards (and accompanying social media graphics) for the University of Minnesota School of Public Health (SPH). The cards were paired with reusable cutlery sets as a promotional item to give away at conferences. We chose to include watercolor illustrations as a way to differentiate our designs from many of the photo-heavy marketing materials you typically see in higher education branding. We worked with 3 students in SPH's nutrition program as well as the school’s dean to develop and/ or adapt the recipes. The selected recipes highlight Minnesota's cultural, ethnic, and agricultural diversity.
